Bottom line - probably returning to Texas this July or August. Megan and I are both in agreement that this is probably the best course of action. However, I still don't have a secured position in the Midland/Odessa area. I do, however, have several leads. Besides our home is there - perhaps the number one reason to return - OUR HOME!

It has been an interesting and extremely difficult year. Hard to really explain or put into words. However, I have never forgotten the extreme emotions I felt as I walked out the San Jacinto Junior High doors for the final time. I haven't forgotten the feeling's of abandment when I drove away from my Midland home.

I year later, I look back on "The Decision" with mixed feelings - angery, frustrated, disgusted, horrorified, basically 99 percent pissed off. So here's hoping that returning to Texas is everything we are hoping it will be....our future!

Today Ryan gave his resignation to MISD here in Midland Texas and accepted the coaching position at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup Washington. We are excited to be moving closer to family and friends and can't wait until things will be stable again. We are now in the process of trying to sell our house, finish up the school year and move all in a couple of weeks, so forgive me if I seem a bit frazzled. For all my Washington friends here we come so watch out and for the Texans here, thanks for the memories.

Funny how things are sometimes, two years ago I wasn't sure where my life was heading. Megan and I were uncertain about just everything except for the fact we belonged together. I had no job, no prospects and two college degrees. Then an interview and another but still no job. Then one day I received an email that has for certain changed our life and will continue to change it. The contents of the email, a phone number with a name, Coby Harrison, followed by the words "Give him a call, he may have a job for you." For some reason I called. For some reason we had a lengthy conversation about Midland, Texas. For some reason I took the job 48 hours later. Now for some reason Megan and I are back to square one - Texas or Washington.

Washington here we come?

It has been an interesting week or so, Ryan was offered a head JV coaching position in Puyallup which is wonderful but....there's always a but with good news, no teaching job yet, AAAAHHHHHHH!!! At any other time we would have jumped on this but Ryan really has good opportunities here in Texas. Through our prayers we hope to make a decision considering he would have to be there beginning of June, no pressure ;) The thought of being close to family sounds wonderful but the idea of selling our home, not so fun. We'll figure it out and we'll definitely keep everyone posted when our minds are made up. Blog ya later!!!

Walking a day in sisters shoes, I just thought it was too cute!!

We can't keep her out of this thing, it's for dolls but she loves it!! Oh well!

Poor guy got the flu and had a massive fever, Bella came home from school and colored this picture for him to feel better. She layed it on his pillow, sang him the song that I sing them when they are going to sleep and he bit the dust. It's moments like these that make everything worth it.

So I realized today that it has been a while (long while) since I have posted and hope that all will be forgiven after this one. Yes Jaz has started walking, running, throwing fits, screaming, talking a bit and being soooo much fun! We've been through lots this past few months, not all fun, but we survived, I'll list a few; hospital with Jaz, Family (mine, Megan) stuff, Bella's first day of school, Ryan's first day of school, we have managed to survive football season so far (but just barely), Jaz had tubes put in her ears and now is a pretty happy and fisty (?) baby, Wyatt has survived being home with mommy all day and all in all we are busy but happy. Hope you've enjoyed the pictures of the kiddos and I'll post some more later!!

So here in Texas we have been regrouping after our trip back to Washington. Jazlynn has been sick pretty much since we got home and still has no desire to walk or do anything on her own. Bella is getting ready to start school in a week and will be attending the "fine arts academy" with uniforms and everything that she loves put in a school. The only scary thing, for me (mommy) is that she will be in school from 8-5, she's going to be exhausted and I'm really going to miss her. Wyatt is adjusting to the idea that sister won't be here, we'll see how that goes since no one seems to have little boys that are his age. Ryan has started preparing for school and Football of course has already taken over our lives, I just keep telling myself things will get easier someday. As for me I am teaching piano still and staying home with the kiddos. Just thought I would update everyone on life at the Holmstrom's. Missing you all so much!

Money Sucks!!

Here's something that probably sounds familiar to most of you and that is getting ahead only to fall back behind. I am talking about money of course. Megan and I recently went on a trip to Washington State to visit family. We used a portion of our tax return to pay for the trip. Roughly the trip cost $2000 with the plane tickets and expenses for our time there. Before we left I made sure to pay the bills - even paid a bit extra on most of them.

Sounds like we played it safe and I would agree. We even received and extra $850 for our roof which we than used to pay off our credit card. So back to zero right....WRONG! During our vacation Jazlynn had to be admitted to the hospital for pneumonia. I am sure we will be billed for something. Our three weeks in Washington cost a bit more than expected which than turned into $100 added to our credit card on arriving back to Midland for food and gas. Additionally, an extra payment of $165 had to be made to get our van back from the body shop (Almost the entire amount I made doing some work for my father while visiting). The thing that really ticks me off is that the $165 was the amount I needed to finish off my six months of car insurance. Funny thing is that isn't even the worst of it.

The day after we returned I noticed that the fence, which is probably 20 years old and rotted, finally bit the dust. Thank goodness the neighbor payed half but that still left us putting $400 on the credit card which was no less than 25 days free of debt...know $500 in the hole. Last thing, our dishwasher, which was in need of repairs, finally whore us down enough purchased a new one...another $550.

So my question is, do you ever get ahead in the battle with cash and credit? Or are we just meant to suffer with the costs of owning a home and trying to make it on your own two feet? Probably the latter!=(

So after months of doing it on my own I cheated and purchased sod for the yard. Only $80 worth but did it make a difference. I had been pretty successful in getting the grass to come back but there were some parts that just will not grow. I am pretty soar - probably will sleep through church tomorrow.

Looking Back: My first year of teaching

With all the graduating seniors in the news and emails from friends left behind I have been thinking a lot about my first year in my choosen profession. It seems as if it was yesterday that my dad and I piled into the moving van to embark on a 3 day trip from Pullman, Washington to Midland, Texas. I remember my first morning sunrise in Seminole, Texas some 60 miles northwest. I stepped out of the motel room and the heat hit me like my momma had just slapped me in the face. At that moment I knew my first year here was going to be a rollercoaster ride.

The first day was easy, introductions and rules. The second was the hardest - first off the lesson was too short and the period was too long. That was a long day - especially since I had come to the realization that almost 80 percent of my students were Hispanic (SJJHS is 50 percent Hispanic). That fact, I had come to the conclusion, would be my most challenging task all year. In addition to having to relate to them myself, I had to teach a history that combines the America's early prejudice, slavery and white society with Mexican tradition and culture. How on earth would I teach these kids?

Swifting gears, than we have the house hunting which didn't go well from the beginning. Nothing that we really felt we could afford and the one house I really wanted was on a flood plain. Now it hasn't flooded in Midland since the 1960s but you are still required to have flood insurance. That would have raised a monthly payment by about $200 or so. To bad because that house was pretty much perfect. Nice neighborhood, new appliances, roof, big back yard, and about 1 mile from work. In the mean time we were staying with a family from church who were extremely patient with us and most likely would have let us stay as long as we wanted to. But in late September we found a home for us and although small it is perfect for our needs. Since then things have slowed down, the house is coming together but the initial anguish made the move feel like we would be "one and done."

Back to the teaching part of things. It took awhile but after about 2 months or so the Hispanic thing was no big deal. Although I have my complaints from time to time about the students - such as the laziness and the stupid comments they make on a daily basis - overall I feel that my first year has been a success. But I am ready for a break. Ready for Megan to take on a job this summer. Ready to enjoy some time with MY KIDS. Ready to rub it in that I am finished with school while the entire state of Washington has another month......HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Perhaps the most difficult task to take on was coaching, not teaching. I mean why wouldn't it be - I was teaching Texas History - a subject that I knew nothing about. However, I never felt that it would be difficult. Coaching on the other hand - I had a lot to prove. I mean for Pete's Sake, this is Texas, the football Mecca of the world. I am in the middle of Friday Night Lights. Midland Lee won 3 straight state titles from 1999-2001. The school that was the enspiration for the book, movie and now TV series, Odessa Permain, is 15 miles from here. And yes they do eat, drink, and breath football. Yes they do have morning football talk shows on the AM and FM stations. Yes parents have signs in their yard for which position or sport their child happens to be apart of. And yes, 7th grade Saturday morning football games draw crowds of well over 1,000, parents scream at and stare down a losing coach (only for the first 4 games), and the only success you have is the success within that 100 yards. I proved myself however, proved to be a winner with a team of what everyone told me would be losers. Proved to have the knowledge and the toughness to take on the nation that is Texas football followers. Needless to say I enjoyed it and look forward to next year.

Seeing as how we are in Texas and this is coming from Mexico I thought I would let you guys know that we are okay. It is frightening that it is now coming over to our side of the state. Ryan just informed me that as of today a teacher in Odessa (just 15 miles from here) is now sick but he didn't elaborate with what. As for us I am trying to stock up on things that we might need in case it gets worse here and we are told to stay home. I will try to keep all of you updated on how things are going as more information is told to us. Thank you for your concern. We love and miss you all!

Midland ISD held the seventh grade boys basketball tournament to decide the city camp this weekend. My school, San Jacinto - which is named for the decisive battle of the Texas Revolution - had 3 teams in the tourney. During the regular season my team finished 8-2 and took 3rd in league. The other teams finished 10-0 and 4-6. I had the 3rd seed in the tourney which gave my team a long shot in making it to the championship. We took our first two games by 20 points and were playing lights out. Those wins game my team a shot at playing a revenge game against a team that beat us by 3 points in December. My team was considered by many to be a long shot at the beginning of the year. But I had faith. Again, even after an 8-2 season we were considered to have no chance. Guess again people! This morning, my boys took on the team with two 6 footers. It was a gave they were not susposed to win but that is the beauty of sports. To make the long story short "that team" got run out of the building as we won by 12, 40-28, to advance to the championship 2 hours later.

Unfortunently they came up short losing by 6 after a furious 4th quarther finish in which we outscored them 12-4. Call it a combination of being tired from the first game and full from all the crap they ate between. Anyway, at least we lost to the other team at my school - a team in which I had just as much a part in coaching as my own. Therefore this second place finish also netted me first! =)

Lettermen?!

This past spring I was presented with a gift from my Grandmother, my late great uncle's lettermen's jacket from Washington State University. My uncle Joe played football for the Crimson n' Gray during the mid 1950s. Megan and I are the only two in the family other than my uncle to have graduated from WAZZU. I was honored to receive the jacket and it finally has a perminate place in our home.

On each side are mine and Megan's diploma. I have another in the form of a Masters degree but have yet to purchase a frame.

Megan and I are finally getting around to putting pictures on the our walls. The reason - we have been busy painting, sanding, and tearing up carpet. Not to mention coaching and everything that goes on with that. Anyway, first I had to sand down the walls in the kitchen (about 4 months ago) and the dining area (Sunday afternoon). Then I filled in the holes with spackle. After that the walls were ready for primer. If you haven't used primer before the smell is awful. After that a coat of yellow and then a second coat and what you have is what is above.

My Football Team

I have been so busy over the past 4 months, with good reason obviously, that I never really wrote about the boys I coached this year during the football season. The way it works is that seventh grade has three teams; two "A" teams and one "B" team. The B team is basically made up of kids that have little to no experience playing football or kids that are still developing physically. In Midland they basically call these kids the "scrub team." Additionally, the B team is the only seventh grade team with two coaches. Since this was my first year I was assigned the B team with a coach that knows nothing about football. The odds, needless to say, were against me.

We started the season 0-4, scoring only one touchdown during that span. It wasn't that my kids were bad or that the other teams were just that good; they just would not play as a team. After the fourth loss my quarterback came to me after and said that several kids on the team were blaming him for the team playing so poorly. This is were I grew up a bit and became the coach that I always knew I could be. After confronting my team, as well as the other two, it was amazing to see the difference in attitude on the team. They knew that I wasn't going to put up with their garbage. They either come together as a team or sink as individuals. Our fifth game of the year was an exciting one. After a scoreless first half our opponent scored to open the second. However, it should have been called back for a false start. The officials for Junior high are not the best. My boys got the ball back however and scored on a beautiful 60 yard run. However, unlike the other team my boys were flagged for a bogus penelty. That is when I lost it. I got into it with the official and was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct. That put my kids in a hole, 4th and 30. So I called the same play and surprise it went for a first down. That drive ended in a touchdown and 2-point conversion. The game ended in our first win, mine best moment in coaching. My boys then won their final two games and ended the season 3-4, the most improved team in all of Midland. Proud of it - you bet; but even more proud of my boys.

Buying a house!

So you buy a house and get the key. You pick the moving day and get some fine individuals from church to help you out. You pack up the moving van and drive over to the house. You expect that all is well and that by the end of the day you will be sleeping in your new home. WRONG!!!!

In the case of the Holmstrom's first home the condition in which the home was left was so bad that we were delayed moving in by 9 days! 9 freakin' days! I mean these folks didn't even bother to lift the toilet seat and clean off there pee stains. Not that I was or will ever sit on the toilet until I purchase new seats but come on people, give me a little effort.

Finally however, Megan and I are moved in. When will we finally be finished unpacking....that is a whole other tale to tell.

Apparently you can leave the classroom but the classroom will never leave you. This is something that I have had to learn during my first 5 weeks of teaching. Granted, my situation is not the best. I have no classroom, teach a subject that I know nothing about, and have around 130 horny all-knowing seventh graders. What else could I want right! I don't know, a million dollars would work best at the moment but I guess that I will settle for my classroom and learning on the run. It has been a hard five weeks and it is only going to get rougher. So send your prayers because this teacher is still the student after all!

TERMITES, COUGS, & 7th GRADERS...?

The three torns in my side!!!! HAHA! The home we were looking to purchase was inspected on Tuesday and the word of the day was Termites. The damage was in the near ten thousands range. Megan said that she went into the garage and you could see them crawling all over the place. Additionally - the roof needed replacing. Needless so say we backed out of the sale. So we are back to square one but I am sure something will come our way soon.

Other than the house search - those Cougs sure stunk up the field on Saturday - and oh yeah I still got to witness the devestation from Texas. Much like President Bush who is stationed in Texas to assess the hurricane damage, I saw everything. Let me just say we are small on defense and under acheiving on offense - translation - It could be a long season...yikes!

Moving on to my new nemisis - those 7th graders of mine. What a group I have. Last week alone I gave out 4 detentions, had 4 boys make one girl cry, punished around 50 football players for screwin' around in the classroom and made one seating chart. It wasn't a bad first week, just not the one that I pictured. Hopefully things will shape up - I am sure they will! On the bright side, the football is awesome!

Coach Holmstrom & Mr. Holmstrom - Two very different people

It was brought to my attention by one of my seventh graders that I am a very different person on the field compared to the classroom. He asked me, "Why are you so nice in the classroom and so mean on the practice field." I laughed and quickly said, "You've only been in my class two days - give it time!" Really though I guess that could be a complement. The difference really is that in the classroom I like to be fun and talkative with the kids. They respond to that really well. On the field they need to know that it's a battle and nice guys always finish last on the playing field. That's my approach but it works.

On another note - I am having a lot of fun and I am not mean on the field - just loud! My first day I said something along the lines of "this sucks!" But really it is a lot of fun. The kids are great and it is really interesting to be surrounded by so many ethnic groups in one school. It is a bit like college and some of these kids are just as mature as those kids!=) Later.

1st Day of the Rest of my Life

It is 12:24 a.m. and I am still awake. Why you ask? Because I am no where near prepared for my first day of teaching. Forget everything that I thought would help to prepare me for this day because it aint! Remember that episode of Seinfeld where Kramer goes to work for Brand-Lelend and he says to Jerry, "Old Man Lelend is bustin' my hump over these reports" - that is how I feel and I have not to begin - YIKES! Ah well, I guess I best get a move on and jump into to bed. 7th graders are fast approaching and I need my rest.

Because moving 2,000 miles in a moving van sucks! Let me just say that if Megan and I move back to Washington State we are not moving ourselves!

Here's the story. Last Monday morning my father and I went to get the moving truck from Budget in Moscow (highly recommend by the way). When I was quoted on the phone, this nice lady said to me that it would be $1,450 for the moving van. I was figurin' that, however what came next was the best surprise of all. She says to me, "My quote was a bit off and the truck is going to be a little less than I told you." A little less, I am think $20 bucks...try $600! Hello! I didn't know what to think - it was just so awesome. So anyway, we got the truck loaded around 11:30 a.m. and than I made a trip to the CUB. I had been waiting 3 years so I figured that I better go get some Coug gear and see the new CUB because I wasn't sure when I would ever get back to Pullman. So 2 hours later my father and I finally left Pullman for Midland, Texas.

Well Megan and I finally have been given an answer to our prayers. We look forward to our move to Midland, Texas where I will be teaching and coaching seventh grade. It is going to be hard to leave family and friends behind but we will be back. Washington is our home but we have this adventure ahead of us that is just going to be a real great opportunity for our family and we can't pass it up. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and encouragement - we will always be greatful!

Of course as far as Mr. Bentley is concerned, his song is about sex and alcohol albeit a great song if I may add. So you want to have 3 children. Think again please! Don't get me wrong, it isn't that I do not love my children but they are extremely hard headed and stubburn. Safe to say Megan and I are finished having children but that doesn't stop me from asking why I wanted them in the first place!=)

The newest member of the family was born at 4:05 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. She is a tiny thing weighting only 7-10 and is 20 inches long. She has dark hair and a big nose - poor kid!

Isabella is taking ballet. The top two pictures are from her recital in May. The little girl in the picture is Claire who was also in Izzy's class. They did a wonderful job. Check back later to see the video - that is if I can upload it.

Wyatt is playing with his Mack for the Cars movie and his Geo Trax train set. He also loves to put on daddy's shoes and running around in a diaper. What a stud!

Job Hunting!

It has been two years since I received my certification as a teacher and have yet to receive an interview. Why is that? Not sure - perhaps I smell! I know you can't tell that by an application but maybe they can. Fingerprints leave a mark - perhaps embedded in that mark is my stink=)! Perhaps it is something else. Maybe I wasn't supposed to be a teacher. Personally I do not believe that because I am a good teacher. Maybe however I should have stuck with one of those other things that I told people I could do better than teaching but decided against them.
I think that maybe I will stick to being smelly and hope that the school district that hires me has no sense of smell!

"The Baby" has a name!

If you failed to guess, I am letting you off the hook. "The Baby" as we have been calling her is now Jazlynn Christine. Her name is in the baby book however I just mixed words to when I was thinking of names - I was actually surprised to see it in the book. Anyway, Isabella is responsible for chosing the names. I liked Bailee while Megan liked Jazlynn; so when we left it to Isabella it made it easy give in. Isabella took all of 1 second to decide on Jazlynn.

A little bit about her name. Christine is my mother's name and Lynn is Megan's mom's middle name. Therefore all three children have some tradition passed on to them. Isabella's middle name, Marie, is the tradition middle name for all the first girls born on Megan's mother's side. Wyatt has my name as his middle name. My hope is that he will either pass that on to his children as a middle name or use his first name as the middle name for all his future boys. And Jazlynn has a part of both families. Hopefully all our children grow up to love their names!

So Long WSU. Hello Uncertain Future!

It's 3:45 in the afternoon and I am sitting inside WSU's Holland Library. I have a class, second to last ever, in a little less than 30 minutes. I cannot help but stop to think about my adventures in being a college student these past 9 years.

It all begin in the fall of 1999 after I decided to stay at home to attend Pierce CC - that was my first big mistake. Two years, and only 26 credits later I found myself as a freshmen at Washington State with a long road to hoe. I was frustrated, discouraged, and nearly dropped out. I wanted to go home. I wanted to forget my dreams of teaching and coaching at the high school level and go back to Puyallup. Whatever the reason however I stayed and continued to hammer things out. I stopped my brief experience with alcohol, made some new friends, and shifted my focus back to school.

In the spring of 2002 I returned to church and found a new place to gather with friends and contemplate the future. It was at that time that I met Megan. Although nothing came of our meeting until after the summer when she returned to Pullman, there was something about Megan that attracted me to her and made me want to become a better person. That next spring in 2003 Megan and I were married in the Portland, Oregon Temple and began our life together. 5 years and nearly three children later we are both leaving Pullman as graduates of Washington State University. We are grateful to those who assisted us in our journey and look forward to our future - no matter how murky those waters are.

However uncertin our future is, Megan and I are firm in our belief that the Lord will guide us down the proper direction. For all the mistakes we have made together, we realize that the Lord has been there to help us make the better decision the next time around. We have grown together as husband and wife and have our friends, family, and our faith in the Gospel to thank for who we have become. Therefore, we can leave Pullman content to be finished with our lives as students and more than willing to face the challenges that lay in store concerning our future together.

Holy April Birthday's Batman!

Pow! Whack! Ka-Boom! April is the month for birthday's in the Holmstrom family. It used to be that April only yielded three birthday's - my mom on April 12, me on April 23, and my grandma-ma on April 30. Then the kids decided to get married and with that came children. My sister, Angela had my niece, Lacey on April 12 - Happy Birthday to me madre! Then I decided to find myself an old ball-n-chain which landed yet another April birthday, Megan on April 6. If you are counting that is 5. Yet, I guess it just would not have been right it my only son did not share in the April showers as well, Wyatt on April 14. Six freakin' April birthday's - that is insane!

So here's to the Holmstrom April birthday clan - Happy Birthday everyone!

No Shame in losing to UNC

Let me give you a couple of numbers. 16, the number of 3-point shots attempted by WSU. 2, the number of 3-point shots made by WSU. Another number 31, Wazzu's shooting percentage. What about this one, 11-44, the combined shooting of Rochestie, Low, Weaver, and Cowgill. Bottom line, the Cougs simply shot poorly - they had great shots for most of the night but nothing could break through that invisable barrier. The bottom-bottom line - North Carolina is one amazing team! Congrats to the Cougs for advancing to the Sweet 16. I am grateful to have been apart of it as one of your biggest fans. [I am having problems breaking this up into paragraphs and it is making me very mad - I am sorry.] Before I finish I do want to give you a few more numbers. 1,500, number in attendence at my first WSU basketball game in 2001. 9,200, average attendence in 2007-2008. 1, number of PAC-10 wins in 2001-2002 season. 24, number of PAC-10 wins in the past 2 seasons. My-oh-my how things that changed. Next year Tony Bennett has his best recruiting class tripping to Pullman, 5 - fabulous freshman to be exact. In a word, they are "scary" good! And all this talk about Bennett leaving is pre-mature - he ain't leavin' Pullman - not yet. So the future looks promising - I look forward to seeing what is in store for the WSU basketball team.

How Sweet 16 It Is!

Perhaps the national media has not noticed yet but the Cougs can play some basketball. Watching ESPN and cruisin' the yet for all I could find, maybe one or two media maroons picked us to win over Notre Dame. Okay, so Notre Dame was fast - took care of it. So they had one monster big guy in the middle - I wasn't impressed. So they play fast and we play slow. Whatever, we got it done and took them Catholic school boys to the wood shed in the process. And how 'bout them Cougs! Derek Low played perhaps the best game I have seen hime play since dropping 39 on Oregon a year ago. He was on fire and that fall-away three pointer at the end of the first half - that was one sweet stroke. Another thing, Low was playin' some monster 'D' tonight. Nothing was getting past him. And of course, let us not forget the Dream Weaver. You know, everyone says that he plays like a Nate McMillian. I got two words for ya'll - Scottie Pippen! It is all most like a mirror image - guy plays excellant defense, perhaps the best in the nation, can shot the ball from all areas of the court, quick hands, great spend, rebounds, un-selfish, and is lighthing quick. Did you see that block in the towards the end of the game - WOW!

Next up for the Cougs - NORTH CAROLINA! A childhood favorite of mine, mostly because Michael Jordan was and still is my all-time favorite but you just cannot beat their tradition. That being said, WSU is going to win. Laugh if you want but Carolina plays the same style of ball that Notre Dame does. Only difference, and it is a big difference, North Carolina can flat out play ball. They shoot lights out, play great defense, rebound well, and just kill you with their speed. Oh yeah and they have Tyler Hansbrough - perhaps the best player in all of college basketball. Thing is, I think and so do some others I know, that the Cougs match up well against Carolina. They are not to big and in many ways mirror us in height at both the guards and forwards. Also, Carolina could have problems with out style of play. Last time I checked no team in the ACC plays a slow, half court style of basketball. That is going to be our advantage because we do not match up talent wise against Carolina. They have more talent but we just might have the better team! Will find out next week. Till then, DON'T STOP BELIEVIN' and LET'S GO COUGS!

Kickin' Back with the Cougar Basketball Team

To celebrate the WSU Men's Basketball team heading to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year the school held a section show party for the team and fans over spring break. Around 2,000 fans were in attendance and the team stuck around to sign autographs. I was able to get a poster signed by the entire team including Tony Bennett while Isabella had her shirt signed by Robbie Cowgill, Kyle Weaver, Derek Low, Taylor Rodchestie, and Coach Bennett.

What's New

Ryan and Megan are proud to announce that we are expecting our third child, a girl, due on the Fourth of July. As of today, we have yet to decide on a name but seem to have narrowed our choices. The names cannot be relieved since we are trying to keep a secret for once in our lives.

Isabella just turned 4 years old and we celebrated her first ever birthday on February 29th. Tough being a Leap Day baby. It was a wonderful party that was shared by both families and some of Izzy's best girlfriends.

Wyatt is turning 2 years old this April 14. He is really coming into his own and has added his own sweet spirit to our family. He spends his days mostly watching Disney's Cars, or Cha-Chow!, as he loves to call it.

Megan and I just celebrated our firth wedding anniversary on March 15th. We did not do much, just went to dinner and took a stroll around the mall. Perhaps if things were not so busy something else may have happened. Fortunately he have several more anniversaries remaining.
